Embroidery
We can embroider your company logo, team logo, names, monograms, stock designs and other designs on shirts, bags, uniforms, hats, towels, grandparent items, baby items, wedding items, jackets, wall-hangings, gift items and almost anything you can imagine!
We begin with the artwork...
Just send us the artwork (Adobe Illustrator vector graphics are preferred, JPG files are acceptable) or we can create the design for you for a fee, or you may select a stock design from Dakota Catalog using the
Embroidery Designs link.
This artwork (except stock designs) must be digitized, which converts it to a format embroidery machines use to sew the design. If you already have the digitized file (DST format), we will use it to create your embroidery. There is a $25.00 fee if the existing digitized design needs to be resized (within 20%) or re-worked for different materials and/or products. The cost of digitizing is $14.00 per 1,000 stitches. The number of stitches will vary with the size and complexity of the design, but most left-chest style designs are 5,000 - 8,000 stitches.

Select the products you would like to have embroidered from the Apparel link, the Hats link or the Scrubs link. This information will be used to determine how to digitize your design and to place your order.

Monogramming
In the classic style 3 letter monograms, the center letter is larger than the letters on each side. Individuals have the first name initial on the left, the middle name initial on the right, with the larger
last name initial in the center. For example, John Q. Public would be monogrammed as "JPQ",
with the "P" in the center, larger than the "J" and the "Q". Couples using the same last name
have one person's first name initial on the left and the other person's first name initial on the
right, with the larger last name initial in the center. For example, John and Mary Public would be
monogrammed as JPM, with the "P" in the center, larger than the "J" and the "M".
* Monograms will be sewn in the letter or name order you enter them on the order page, so make sure
you have written the letters or names in the correct order. Please contact us if you have any questions.
